Disease Surveillance at MUCHAP focuses on continuous monitoring of communicable and non-communicable diseases within the Iganga–Mayuge Health and Demographic Surveillance Site (IMHDSS), tracking disease patterns and trends among over 101,000 individuals across 65 villages to generate timely data for outbreak detection, public health response, and policy development in Uganda.
